Last weekend I went with my Mom and Grandma to Third Sunday Market and picked up these beauties! The first two are for the kitchen and the dresser is in the guest bedroom.

It has recently come to my attention that my sister and I are Homophiles, the complete opposite of Homophobics. Not homosexuals, but Homophiles. Actually both words are one in the same but for US it just means that we are actively concerned with the rights of gay men or lesbians. Breahna asked our friend Marsha if she had ever seen pictures of a sex change operation before. Quickly she responded "No, but I'll BET that you and your sister have! You guys are obsessed with anything that has to do with the "Gay" culture and what not." haha Well, what can I say? We were just curious about what your "stuff" looks like after a sex change! So, of course we looked it up on the internet! We are kind of bummed because we just found out that Alexis Arquette is NOT going to be airing her documentary on her sex change operation. Dang!

I just need to vent for a quick second. WTF is wrong with people these days???? What in the world makes these war protestors think for one second that what they are doing is okay? They think that God is "punishing" the USA for being tolerant of homosexuals. They are nuts, I really don't even know what to say.

Now we also have Planned Parenthood promoting "Abortion Pride" by selling tshirts with the slogan "I had an abortion." They feel that "abortion still has powerful negative associations in the public mind." Uh, you think?

Hello world! I'm very glad to say that I am doing MUCH better! I decided to stop the insanity of the low carb diet and go back on Weight Watchers. I can't even begin to tell you how much better I feel. Whew! The weight may not come off quite as quickly now but at least I'll be sane.

Sorry I haven't been keeping up with the blog entries lately. So much has been going on and it's been hard for me to focus. So, let me attempt to bring everyone up to speed. Two months ago I had emergency surgery to remove a dermoid cyst AND my right ovary. Recovery was tough but I have felt soo much better since. John and I went to see Dr. John C. Jarrett a couple of weeks ago to see what our options are for having a baby. Well, with everything that has happened in the recent past he suggested In Vitro Fertilization. John and I weren't exactly expecting such a dramatic measure so soon but Dr. Jarrett seemed very hopeful. We have decided to go ahead with this plan. First things first, I have to lose 35 pounds before the procedure, which we are hoping to have done in either September or October. I am on a very low carb diet and taking Glucophage/Metformin. I started this journey last Monday-1 week ago. I have already lost 6 pounds and needless to say it has not been a very fun week. I threw up the first night and the 3rd morning and have been very depressed. I have no energy and am actually sick right now. I am also back on the pill temporarily. I'm telling you, my body doesn't even KNOW what to think anymore! On the pill, off the pill, on Clomid, off Clomid, removal of HUGE cyst AND right ovary, now BACK on the pill. I think that my reproductive system is about to have a nervous breakdown! Can you blame it?
So, on June 8 (the day before my 29th birthday!) I will start going in for shots which will put me into temporary pre-menopause. This means that I will start having hot flashes in the middle of summer! All of you who know me well KNOW that if I am HOT & HUNGRY......well, let's just say it isn't pretty!
I apologize to everyone who I haven't called lately. I hope that you understand why I've been anti-social. I REALLY appreciate all of you who keep me in your prayers and are thoughtful enough to call ME even though I'm not really good with calling people back. I have such wonderful friends and my FAMILY......they are phenomenal!
I will continue to keep everyone posted.

Oh how I am just DYING to tell everyone what just happened to me. Actually, it's kind of gross and if I DID tell....my husband would probably disown me and no one would come to visit my blog anymore. :( So, I guess that my secret will have to remain silent. Sorry everyone. I know, I KNOW! It's totally not fair to EVER bring something up and talk about how interesting it would be for you to hear it but I just can't. Not this time. It's for your own good.
Trust me!
