Okay, does it even get any cuter than this??? I know...I'm such a proud momma! This is Russell when we first got him. He was only 7lbs of love muscle then. Now he's at least 30lbs. Not that 30lbs is alot compared to my parents' Irish Wolfhounds. I'll have to show some pics of them.

What I've been knitting...

I know that these pics aren't the greatest. I took them with a crappy disposable camera. Once again, I REALLY need a digital!
The off-white sweater with the mouse buttons was the first sweater I ever knit. It kept me quite entertained/busy in San Francisco while I went with John to his conferences (after I spent $400 on BUTTONS!!!) so that I wouldn't go shopping anymore!!! haha It took me forever, but once it was done I felt a major sense of accomplishment! The second one I sort of had to improvise on. It is the same sweater pattern however, the yarn was much thicker and I used bigger needles. Therefore, I had to modify the pattern a bit and somehow it ended up overlapping in the front so I turned it into a double breasted pullover. Oh, and by the way they are baby sweaters, just in case you were wondering.

Whoa dang...

Okay, I just looked at the time and it is a wee bit past my bedtime. I don't have to work tomorrow so at least I can sleep in. :) Oh, how I LOVE to sleep in!!! Here is a pic of my sister Breahna and her boyfriend Nick. Aren't they just the cutest??!!

Ooh la la!

These are my "model" shots. haha This was the first time that I had ever had my hair straightened with a flat iron and boy was I feeling sexy! Can't you tell!? I need to wish my Grandma Lily a belated happy birthday...it was this past Monday. I'm soo sorry that I was such a bad granddaughter and didn't send an email or anything! So, I'm giving you a special shout out! I love you Grandma! And then I also need to wish my Uncle Kim a happy birthday today! It was nice chatting with you on the phone! It's time for me to hit the hay so I need to wrap this up. I've got to get up for church tomorrow and play with the bell choir. :)

If anyone is wondering about the following RANDOM photos, I'm still trying to figure this whole blog thing out. I've been experimenting with these photos just seeing if I can get them to show up. I know that I got my pic on here on a post but I couldn't figure out how I did it! I was actually trying to get that particular pic onto my profile. Don't you just hate that??? When you do something and have NO IDEA how you did it??? Agh! Well, hopefully I have figured it out now. Jeez, Louise! One pic is me a long time ago (obviously!...I have long hair!), the one with four pics is my brother the Ford Model (sorry Dalton, I just have to brag on you a little bit!), and the other is on here specifically for Beth. We used to take the nuttiest pics in college at good 'ol EIU and this was the notorious Six Pack Shot. Ummm.....the funnyness ( is that even a word?) is under the strip of paper! Only a very few priviledged individuals have had the chance to see exactly what lies beneath. :o

Russell the Love Muscle (my dog)

Poor little Russell. I am SUCH a bad momma! I haven't had his nails cut since this summer (shame,shame) and one of them broke back so far that he had to be sedated to have it cut back far enough. I can't even begin to tell you how bad I felt. That same day I went to Petco and bought a pair of nail clippers because I PROMISED that little love muscle that his momma would never let his nails get that bad again! He has had this shnazzy purple bandage on his foot for the past couple of days. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to log on to the Herald & Review's website and click on the Reader's Choice (I believe that it is in the top right hand corner) and do a little voting. My #1 request would have to be for my husband, Dr. John P. Di Mondo as *Favorite Physician*. So, please everyone, give him a shout out! :) If you need a suggestion for *Best Decaturite* Jo Caulkins is your woman!!! Give her a shout out while you're at it! Oh, last but not least....be SURE to vote for Bellasera as the *Best Window Display*. I expect everyone to get right on this! I will be asking!!!!!! Oh, and you know that I will. :)

Christgiving

We had our Christgiving (Christmas & Thanksgiving) this weekend with my dad's side of the family. It was alot of fun! Good food, good company and great gifts for everyone! John and I are going to get all of the Christmas trimmings out today. We really need to get a digital camera because I have new pics that I want to put on here but I haven't had the film developed yet.
I'll tell you, isn't modern technology great! John got me the new iPOD for Christmas and I am having a blast putting music,
pics and other stuff on it. Hey Melissa, I got my guitar for Christmas from my parents so I'm going to be attempting to learn. Indigo Girls...look out! :)

Things to do before I die.

I was just sharing with Sarah today that I am coming up with a list of goals, you know...things to do before I die. Now, this isn't meant to be depressing and I'm inviting everyone to do this along with me. Just get a piece of paper and a pen. Write down as many things that you can think of that you would like to accomplish. Here are the things that I have come up with so far and some I have already accomplished! You see, you have to put a few things on the list that have already been met so that you instantly see some progress! :) 1. Knit a sweater (check) 2. Learn sign language 3. Design my own blog (check) 4. Make a dvd 5. Make a quilt 6. Draw a portrait 7. Go to NYC 8. Get to 170lbs again! 9. Write a book 10. Get married (check) 11. Have a baby 12. Learn to play the acoustic guitar That's all that I have for now. See what I mean about putting things down that you have already accomplished? My list is looking good already! :)

Wang Gang Reunion!

Last night the majority of the Wang Gang were reunited. Jamie Davis (Crisup) and her husband James had a party at their house.
We kept getting sucked into the Ring of Fire, oh what a night! The members of the Wang Gang who attended were the following... Jamie Davis (Crisup) of course, Cerella Di Mondo (Koprek), Melissa Mixell (Barding), Margaret Brinkoetter and Seth Holtschlag. Beth Brown, the #1 original head honcho of the gang was MIA. Many bucks points were handed out but fortunately no one ever completely struck out. I'm looking forward to the next time we can all get together. Hopefully we can make it a full reunion!

Christmas Tree Shopping

Well, my husband and I were going to look for a Christmas Tree today but it hasn't quite worked out yet. I was up at 7:30am and that is just entirely to early for me. Needless to say I went back to sleep and didn't wake up until noon. :s This seems to happen every weekend with us.
