It's been too long....
since I last wrote a substantial post! I've gotta level with everyone....I absolutely can't STAND having my blog privatized! I feel soo restricted in my tiny little blogging world. Oh, well. What can you do?
So, let's tawk a bit. What's on my mind this second is my angst of turning....dun, dun,
duuuun....30. Only 4 more days of being 29. So much happened in my 20's. I'm sure that it's the same for everyone else but it just freaks me out to be leaving that decade of my life and entering another one. I am trying to look at the positive things of turning 30.....
* Every woman that I talk to says that her 30's have been great, that she feels so comfortable in her own skin and just very content.
* This YEAR will more than likely be the year that I become a mother through adoption. Now THAT is exciting!
* I will be at the beginning of a decade and not at the end. I've got 10 more years until I freak out about 40!
Okay, enough of that. My sister is almost due to have her baby, Amos. I can't wait! His due date is July 9th, exactly one month after my birthday. Coincidentally my brother's due date was July 9th as well however, he was born on June 23. So, my sister is convinced that Amos will probably follow in his uncle's footsteps. :) We'll just have to wait and see!
Has anyone else tried the spray tan at the tanning salon? My sister and I went twice. I really liked the color the first time that I went, it looked very natural. Not soo much on my feet and wrists but DANG my legs looked great! It was surprisingly even as well! However, when it starts fading.....watch out. Not such a hot look. It was really splotchy. I looked like I had vitiligo. I'll probably try it again though.
