My bent up needles.

This is how my size 5/ 3.75mm bamboo needles look after two sweaters. The pic almost doesn't do them justice because of how they were lying. They are soo warped! Do other peoples bamboo needles look like this as well? I have always been a really tight knitter so I'm really trying to make a conscious effort to loosen up...just a bit. I don't want things to turn out the complete opposite, really loose. So yeah, I'm really not much of a fan of the bamboo.
